Marbella Coral Way

Marbella is a nine-story condominium at 1650 Coral Way (also addressed as 1650 N Coral Way), built in 2002 along the Coral Way corridor between Brickell and Coral Gables. The Marbella building contains 60 residences spread across floors three through eight, with six floor plans ranging from 617 to 1,477 interior square feet. Marbella Coral Way includes assigned covered parking, impact-resistant sliding glass doors, spacious walk-in closets, individually controlled HVAC zones, European-designed kitchens with granite counters and tile backsplashes, high-end stainless steel appliances, and oversized private balconies. The mid-rise scale gives each floor a small unit count and creates a more intimate building feel than the high-density towers along Brickell Avenue. The Marbella Coral Way address sits at the eastern edge of the Coral Way corridor, a tree-lined stretch of SW 22nd Street/Coral Way that runs west from Brickell to Coral Gables and is lined with mature banyan and oak trees. Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, the University of Miami's downtown satellite, the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, and the Coconut Grove village center are all short drives. The Coral Way corridor itself is anchored by Sergio's Cuban Restaurant, Pollo Tropical, several long-running Cuban bakeries and ventanitas, and the Coral Way historic district to the west around Le Jeune Road. Brickell City Centre, Mary Brickell Village, and the Financial District sit approximately a mile and a half east along Coral Way and SW 1st Avenue, and Coral Gables' Miracle Mile shopping and restaurant corridor is about two miles west. The location offers walkability to local cafes, family-owned restaurants, and Cuban groceries unusual for a building in this price range. Amenity space at Marbella Coral Way includes a swimming pool, a windowed and well-equipped fitness center, a ballroom-style party and club room, a billiards room, and a finished lobby with concierge service, covered parking, and 24-hour security. The Marbella condominium is also one of the few mid-rise buildings on the corridor with assigned covered parking, an amenity normally found only in newer construction or larger towers. The combination of the assigned parking, the impact-resistant glass throughout, the mid-rise scale, and the address between two of the city's denser submarkets gives Marbella Coral Way a quieter residential character than the high-rise towers along Brickell Avenue or in central Coral Gables, and the building draws a mix of professionals, University of Miami families, and end-user owners.
