Centro · #PH05

Centro (recorded as Centro Condo and often searched as Centro Downtown) is a loft-style high-rise condominium at 151 SE 1st Street in Downtown Miami, beside the Miami Tower in the heart of the central business district. Completed in 2016 according to Miami-Dade property records, Centro is known for its industrial loft finishes and for common areas designed by industrial designer Yves Béhar. For buyers comparing Downtown Miami condos for sale, Centro offers compact loft-style units in a building with no on-site parking garage. County records list 352 residences, 11 per floor on floors four through 35 (there is no 13th floor) plus 11 penthouse units on the top level, along with six commercial units at the base. Centro condos are mostly one-bedroom and loft-style one-bedroom units of about 430 to 790 square feet, with studio layouts of about 430 to 525 square feet and two-bedroom residences of about 735 to 975 square feet, some of which use an open loft as the second bedroom. Residences have polished concrete floors and ceilings, ceilings of about 10 feet, floor-to-ceiling windows, Italian cabinetry, energy-efficient stainless steel appliances, in-unit washers and dryers and balconies, with city and Biscayne Bay views from upper floors. Amenities include a rooftop pool and sundeck with 360-degree skyline views, a two-story penthouse-level skyline lounge and club room with a coffee bar, co-working tables, media room and game area, a fitness center, men's and women's saunas and steam rooms, a hot tub, a pet area, fob-controlled entry and a 24-hour front desk with security. The building has no garage and units do not include parking; residents can use valet for a monthly fee or self-park in the adjacent Miami Tower garage, which listings quote at roughly $150 to $225 a month. MLS listings report that the association fee covers water and sewer plus basic cable and internet. The tower is a short walk to Bayfront Park, Bayside Marketplace, the Kaseya Center, Flagler Street's restaurants and Miami Dade College's Wolfson Campus, with several Metromover stations nearby and Brickell just across the Miami River. Centro has an active rental market: MLS records commonly show up to 12 leases a year, and some listings cite a 30-day minimum stay, so buyers who plan to rent should confirm current association rules. As of October 2026, 26 Centro condos were listed for sale at asking prices from about $330,000 to $570,000 and 68 were offered as Centro condos for rent at about $2,100 to $4,000 a month; 20 sales in the prior 12 months closed between about $275,000 and $520,000, at a median of about $594 per square foot.
