Seaside Village · #19234

Seaside Village is a low-rise condominium enclave on Fisher Island, the private barrier-island community off the south tip of South Beach. The Seaside Village buildings were completed in 1989 as two five-story structures with Spanish-inspired architecture, fronting the island's east-side beach and pool zone, and the community holds 54 residences in one- and two-bedroom layouts across four core floor plans. Residences at the Seaside Village Fisher Island address feature private terraces oriented to the ocean or interior tropical courtyards, generous floor plates compared with mainland mid-rises, full kitchens, ensuite primary baths, and the masonry construction and tile roofs typical of late-1980s Fisher Island product. The deliberately small five-story height keeps Seaside Village low-density and walkable to the island's beach, pools, and dining venues. Fisher Island itself is accessible only by ferry from the MacArthur Causeway terminal or by private yacht, and the 216-acre island is one of the highest-income zip codes in the United States. From Seaside Village, residents are within a short golf-cart ride of the Beach Club on one of the country's only truly private beaches, the Vanderbilt Mansion clubhouse, the island's main marina, and the village retail and dining at the heart of the community. The MacArthur Causeway ferry terminal connects Fisher Island to South Beach, Downtown Miami, Brickell, and PortMiami in roughly ten to fifteen minutes by car after the seven-minute ferry crossing. The Faena District, Lincoln Road, and the South Beach restaurant corridor are within a twenty-minute trip door-to-door. Fisher Island Club membership grants Seaside Village residents access to the island's full amenity program: a 9-hole P.B. Dye championship golf course, 16 tennis courts spanning all four Grand Slam surfaces, five pickleball courts and two padel courts, a 22,000-square-foot spa and wellness center, the private Beach Club, nine restaurants and bars across the island, two deep-water marinas, on-site medical facilities, and 24-hour island security. Within Seaside Village itself, residents have a community pool, lush tropical landscaping, and the courtyard-style layout that defines the Spanish-village aesthetic of the enclave.
