The Mimosa Condo at 4747 Collins Avenue is an oceanfront condominium on Millionaire's Row in Mid-Beach, Miami Beach, just north of the Fontainebleau and Eden Roc. Completed in 1962 and recorded as Mimosa Condo, the high-rise is a residential building rather than a hotel, with a secured lobby, a beachfront pool deck and direct access to the sand and the Miami Beach Boardwalk. Miami-Dade Property Appraiser records list about 219 apartments: 214 units on floors one through 15 and five penthouses, plus 35 poolside cabana units and five dock units that are owned separately and sometimes sold with an apartment. MLS records show one-bedroom units, many with one and a half baths, of about 790 to 930 square feet and two-bedroom, two-bath units of up to about 1,530 square feet, with corner plans that add a private terrace. Penthouses run about 1,500 to 1,900 square feet. East and north lines face the ocean and pool, while west lines look over Indian Creek and Biscayne Bay to the Miami skyline. Many units have been renovated with impact windows, updated kitchens and tile floors. Mimosa condos share a heated beachfront pool, a fitness center, a club and party room, a library, a children's playground, a basketball court, a barbecue area and garden seating, along with private cabanas by the pool. The lobby is secured 24 hours, parking is assigned with valet service, and rent in the building often includes basic internet, cable, water and sewer. The building sits on the beach side of Collins Avenue near 47th Street, steps from the Fontainebleau and Eden Roc and a short walk from the 41st Street shops and restaurants. The Faena District, South Beach and Bal Harbour Shops are each a short drive away. The Mimosa is aimed at owners and longer-term tenants: MLS records show no daily rentals, leases limited to about once a year with minimum terms of several months to a year, association approval in about one to two weeks, and pets generally not allowed. As of October 2026, six Mimosa condos were listed for sale from about $365,000 to $750,000 and seven were offered for rent at $2,650 to $4,200 a month, and three sales closed in the prior 12 months from $450,000 to $825,000.
