Beacon Harbour · #302

Beacon Harbour is a boutique waterfront condominium at 1660 South Bayshore Court in Coconut Grove. Completed in 2004, the 5-story building holds just 10 residences laid out at two homes per floor, with floor plans running from roughly 3,444 to 3,812 square feet in three- and four-bedroom layouts. The low-density Beacon Harbour format gives the property a townhouse-scale feel inside a small bayfront building, and most units pull direct views of the Coconut Grove marina basin and Biscayne Bay through wide private terraces. Several Beacon Harbour residences include private elevator entries that open into the home rather than into a shared corridor. The building sits one block off South Bayshore Drive, near the bend where Bayshore meets Glencoe Street and the road climbs toward the Mercy Hospital corridor. From Beacon Harbour, the Coconut Grove Sailing Club, Dinner Key Marina, and the Pan American Drive marina basin are within walking distance, and the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a short drive north along Bayshore. CocoWalk, Peacock Park, and the Coconut Grove village center are about a mile south along Bayshore, with the Ritz-Carlton Residences and the Mr. C Bayshore tower in between. Coral Gables, Brickell, and the University of Miami are each fifteen minutes or less, and Miami International Airport sits about twenty minutes northwest along Le Jeune Road. The Beacon Harbour amenity program is intentionally small. Shared facilities include a swimming pool, a fitness room, secured covered parking, a lobby attendant, and 24-hour security, with landscaped grounds that wrap the building's bayfront footprint. The trade-off is privacy. With only 10 residences in the building and a footprint set behind landscaped grounds along the Coconut Grove waterfront, Beacon Harbour functions more like a small bayfront enclave than a full-service high-rise. Interiors at Beacon Harbour carry stone-counter gourmet kitchens, large primary suites, walk-in closets, and wide terrace doors, with several units adding outdoor kitchens and built-in grills on the bay-facing balconies.
