Bayshore Yacht & Tennis Club · #812

Bayshore Yacht & Tennis Club (also written Bayshore Yacht and Tennis Club) is an 11-story bayfront condominium at 7904 West Drive on Harbor Island in North Bay Village, built in 1963. The building faces west across Biscayne Bay toward the Downtown Miami skyline and has its own marina. County records list 163 residential condominium units, nine commercial units and a commercial dock unit, and individual unit sales are recorded back to the late 1970s. Most Bayshore Yacht & Tennis Club condos are compact studios of roughly 390 to 450 square feet, with one-bedroom residences of about 590 to 740 square feet. Many open onto private balconies with bay, Intracoastal or pool views, and west-facing units look toward the sunset and the city skyline. Owners have remodeled many units with tile floors, updated kitchens and baths, impact windows and doors, and in some cases new electrical and plumbing. Laundry rooms are on every floor, and listings usually include one parking space. The top floor holds a rare penthouse offered as a raw shell of about 8,000 square feet with about 2,000 square feet of terraces. Amenities include a heated bayfront pool and deck with a barbecue area, a marina with boat docks where jet skis and boats can be rented, a secured lobby with a 24-hour front desk, elevators and on-site management. Ground-floor commercial space has held a convenience store, a restaurant and a pet-grooming shop. Rental rules are the main draw for investors: many MLS listings record up to 365 leases a year and describe the building as approved for Airbnb and VRBO, while one notes that 30-day leases need no city license and shorter stays require one. Pet rules vary by listing, and several cite a 20-pound limit. North Bay Village is a small island city on the 79th Street (John F. Kennedy) Causeway between the Upper East Side of Miami and North Beach. From Harbor Island, residents reach the North Beach oceanfront in a few minutes and Wynwood, the Design District, Downtown Miami and Brickell in about 15 to 20 minutes. For buyers comparing North Bay Village condos, its studios offer an entry point to bayfront living with marina access. The association began a renovation of the lobby, facades and pool in 2026, and listings from late summer 2026 reported the pool deck closed while work continued. Several 2026 listings tell buyers they must assume a special assessment, so buyers should request the current assessment schedule and recertification status. As of October 2026, MLS shows about 20 Bayshore Yacht & Tennis Club condos for sale, mostly studios and one-bedrooms asking $190,000 to $350,000, plus the penthouse shell at $2.595 million. County records show 2025 and 2026 sales from about $137,000 to $245,000, and rentals list at about $1,500 to $4,000 a month. Request current availability and recent sales through the building page.
