Turnberry Ocean Club · #2704

Turnberry Ocean Club is a 54-story ultra-luxury oceanfront tower at 18501 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, developed by Fontainebleau Development (Turnberry Associates) and designed by Carlos Zapata in collaboration with Robert Swedroe. Completed in 2021, Turnberry Ocean Club holds 154 residences ranging from roughly 2,900 to more than 10,000 square feet in two- through five-bedroom layouts, with 10-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass, wraparound terraces with summer kitchens, and Italian kitchens with Gaggenau appliances. The Turnberry Ocean Club site sits in the Collins 18000s, at the northern end of the Sunny Isles luxury corridor near Pier Park, Newport Pier and the Aventura cut-off via the William Lehman Causeway. Aventura Mall, the Brightline Aventura station and the Williams Island private community are roughly 10 to 12 minutes west, Bal Harbour Shops is about a 10-minute drive south, and the Sunny Isles oceanfront promenade runs along the lifeguarded beach behind the building. The tower is recognizable from miles away thanks to Carlos Zapata's twisting, cantilevered massing -- a deliberate departure from the rectangular slab forms that define most of the rest of Collins. Turnberry Ocean Club's signature amenity is the Sky Club, a six-floor private amenity complex spanning the 30th through 32nd floors and roughly 70,000 square feet. The Sky Club includes a pair of cantilevered swimming pools jutting from the tower, an outdoor sky theater, an al fresco fitness deck, a hydrotherapy spa, indoor and outdoor lounges and sunset terraces. Beyond the Sky Club, Turnberry Ocean Club owners share an oceanfront pool deck with three pools and three bar lounges, a private beach club with cabana service, a kids' club, a multi-media game room, an indoor theater, a coffee bar and reading lounge, an executive boardroom, an outdoor pet retreat and 24-hour concierge, valet and security. Few buildings in Florida match the vertical layering of amenities at Turnberry Ocean Club, and the program is part of why the tower's resales have routinely set Sunny Isles benchmarks.
