Sole on the Ocean, styled Solé and now operated as Solé Miami, is a 23-story oceanfront condo-hotel at 17315 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach. Wavestone Properties, led by founder Thomas Feeley, developed the tower with The Helix Group as construction manager, and Kobi Karp designed it, with interiors by Nuhouse Design and French designer Stephane Dupoux. The Miami-Dade Property Appraiser records it as Sole Condo with a 2007 year built; Kimpton was announced as the first operator in 2006 and Sonesta later opened the hotel as Sonesta Sole Miami. The county lists 147 residential condominium units plus 18 hotel condo units of about 631 to 640 square feet. Sole on the Ocean condos include 45 one-bedroom residences of about 618 to 672 square feet and 102 two-bedroom residences of about 908, 1,007 or 1,201 square feet, arranged eight or nine to a floor from the sixth floor up. Wavestone's launch materials described floor-to-ceiling windows and ocean views, and listings show balconies facing the Atlantic or west over the Intracoastal Waterway and city, hotel-style furnished interiors, and a few penthouse-level units with roof access. Resort services are run by the hotel, now a 249-key full-service condo hotel managed by Noble House Resorts. South Street Partners announced in May 2026 that it had acquired Solé Miami, with plans to upgrade guest rooms and common areas. The resort offers an oceanfront infinity-edge pool, beach service with umbrellas, a fitness center with steam room and sauna, a two-story lobby facing the ocean, valet parking and concierge, a market and four dining options including Baleen Kitchen. Owners can enroll their residence in the hotel rental program; most MLS listings record a one-day minimum lease and up to 365 leases per year, so short-term rentals are permitted. Sole sits directly on the beach on the ocean side of Collins Avenue in central Sunny Isles Beach, beside the Ocean Point Beach Club condo-hotel at 17375 Collins Avenue and a short walk from Samson Oceanfront Park and the shops and restaurants along Collins Avenue. Bal Harbour Shops and Aventura Mall are a few minutes away by car, and South Beach, Wynwood and the Design District are a short drive south. As of October 2026, about 10 Sole on the Ocean condos for sale were listed at asking prices from $595,000 to $897,000, a median of about $727 per square foot, while five closed sales over the previous 12 months ranged from $312,000 to $535,000, a median of about $490 per square foot. Monthly association fees on listed units run a median of about $2.44 per square foot, reflecting hotel-grade services. Request current availability and recent sales through the building page.
