Diplomat Residences · #2002

Diplomat Oceanfront Residences is a 28-story luxury condominium at 3535 S Ocean Drive in Hollywood Beach, completed in 2007 directly adjacent to the historic Diplomat Beach Resort. The Diplomat Residences building holds 135 condominiums laid out with only six units per floor, ranging from approximately 2,300 to over 3,200 square feet in two- and three-bedroom configurations, with a single penthouse occupying the entire 28th floor. Each residence features a private elevator entry, 9- to 10-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass, marble flooring, European kitchens with stone counters, deep terraces, and ocean, pool deck, or Intracoastal exposures. The six-unit-per-floor layout gives each residence a flow-through east-west orientation in the main lines. The Diplomat Residences site sits along the Hollywood Broadwalk, the 2.5-mile brick-paved oceanfront promenade that runs from Hallandale Beach south to North Beach Park in Hollywood. The Broadwalk hosts the Hollywood Beach Theatre, Charnow Park, the Hollywood Beach Bandshell, and dozens of cafes, bike rental shops, and beach service stands. The Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort and the Diplomat Beach Resort sit immediately next door. Aventura Mall and the Aventura Brightline station are about ten to fifteen minutes south, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is roughly fifteen minutes north, Gulfstream Park casino and shopping is five minutes north in Hallandale Beach, and the Hard Rock Guitar Hotel sits fifteen minutes inland in Davie. Residents of the Diplomat Residences share an oceanfront pool with private cabanas, a fitness center, a spa with treatment rooms, a clubroom, a business center, a children's room, a wine room, and direct beach access. The Diplomat building runs a hospitality program with 24-hour valet, concierge, and security, and residents have access to the adjacent Diplomat Beach Resort, including its multiple oceanfront pools, full-service spa, restaurants and bars, and 60,000-square-foot conference and ballroom complex. Beach service, housekeeping, and in-residence dining are available through the on-site management team.
