The Residences at Shell Bay, Auberge Collection, also marketed as Shell Bay Residences, is a 20-story pre-construction condominium tower reported at 501 Diplomat Parkway in Hallandale Beach. It stands inside the private Shell Bay Club, about 150 acres on the Intracoastal Waterway on land that was once the Diplomat golf course. Witkoff and PPG Development are the developers, Kobi Karp designed the tower, AvroKO designed the interiors and Nievera Williams Design is the landscape architect. G.T. McDonald Enterprises is the general contractor, Auberge Collection will manage the residences and an on-site hotel, and Douglas Elliman Development Marketing handles exclusive sales. The tower holds 108 residences, penthouses included: one- to three-bedroom homes plus penthouses of up to four bedrooms, with duplex penthouses adding a plunge pool and summer kitchen. Developer floor plans run from a 952-square-foot one-bedroom to Penthouse B at 4,546 interior square feet, before terraces. Residences have 10-foot-clear ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, private wraparound terraces, and kitchens with white oak cabinetry, honed marble counters and a full Gaggenau suite. Tower amenities include rooftop pools with cabanas, a garden-level restaurant, an 18,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor spa and fitness center, an entertainment suite with a bowling alley and screening room, a wine tasting room, a simulator lounge, spaces for children and teens and a co-working lounge, with Auberge concierge led by a dedicated Director of Residences. The club adds a Greg Norman-designed 18-hole golf course that opened in October 2023, a Racquet Club with all four Grand Slam surfaces, a 48-slip private marina and a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse. A 2023 CNN report said owners receive automatic social membership, with golf available for an additional fee. The developers closed a $273 million construction loan in November 2024, broke ground in February 2025 and topped off the tower in March 2026, with completion targeted for 2027 alongside a 60-key Auberge hotel.
