Dua Miami, formerly branded as SLS Brickell, is a 54-story hotel-and-residences tower at 1300 South Miami Avenue in southern Brickell, developed by The Related Group and designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Philippe Starck in partnership with hotelier Sam Nazarian. The building holds 453 condo residences plus 124 hotel rooms and suites operated under Marriott, with non-penthouse residences in one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts and penthouse residences extending to four bedrooms. The Dua Miami program leans heavily on the hotel-branded model that put SLS South Beach and SLS LUX Brickell on the Miami map. The Dua Miami site sits in southern Brickell, a short walk from Brickell City Centre, Mary Brickell Village, the Brickell Metromover stations along South Miami Avenue and the dining row that includes Komodo, Sexy Fish, Cantina La Veinte, La Mar and Casa Tua Cucina. The Underline linear park runs along the elevated Metrorail tracks immediately west of the building, Simpson Park hammock is a few blocks south, and Bayfront Park and the KASEYA Center are a short drive north across the Miami River.
