Ocean Point Beach Club · #2401

Ocean Point Beach Club is a 27-story oceanfront condo-hotel at 17375 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, completed in 2000 and home to the DoubleTree by Hilton Ocean Point Resort & Spa. The Miami-Dade Property Appraiser records it as Ocean Point Beach Club Condo, and listings also call it Ocean Point Resort or simply Ocean Point. Hotel guests and owners share the building, and owners can choose whether to place their residence in the hotel's rental program. The county lists 166 residential units, arranged eight to a floor on floors 6 through 27, plus a set of commercial condo parcels. Ocean Point Beach Club condos include 61 one-bedroom residences of about 930 to 990 square feet, 82 two-bedroom residences of about 1,290 to 1,470 square feet with two larger 1,700-square-foot units, and 23 three-bedroom residences of about 1,860 to 1,900 square feet. Hilton describes its suites as having fully equipped kitchens; listings show in-unit washers and dryers, private balconies, split two-bedroom plans that can work as a one-bedroom plus a separate studio, and northeast corner three-bedroom units with wraparound ocean-view balconies. Amenities are run with the hotel. Hilton lists a beachfront pool with hot tub and sundeck, a fitness center, two restaurants and two bars including a poolside bar, lobby bar and The Veranda, an on-site market serving Starbucks, room service, concierge, valet parking and meeting rooms including the 1,925-square-foot Ocean Point Room. Listings add a spa with sauna and steam room, two Jacuzzis and beach service with chairs and umbrellas. Most MLS listings record a 90-day minimum lease and up to three leases per year for private rentals, while owners who want shorter stays can enroll in the Hilton-operated rental program. The building sits directly on the sand on the ocean side of Collins Avenue in central Sunny Isles Beach, next to Samson Oceanfront Park and the Sole on the Ocean condo-hotel at 17315 Collins Avenue. Collins Avenue restaurants and markets are close by, and Aventura Mall and Bal Harbour Shops are a short drive away. Hilton places the resort about 19 miles from Miami International Airport, between the Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports and cruise ports.
