1100 Millecento is a 43-story contemporary luxury tower at 1100 South Miami Avenue in the heart of Brickell, designed by Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott with interiors and common areas by the Italian design house Pininfarina, the same studio responsible for the bodywork of Ferrari, Maserati, and Alfa Romeo. 1100 Millecento was developed by The Related Group and completed in 2014, and the tower's slender glass silhouette rises above the Brickell financial district with a thin floorplate that delivers 382 residences laid out as studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom-plus-den, and two-bedroom plans from approximately 578 to 1,270 interior square feet. The Pininfarina interior is reported to be the studio's first residential project in the United States. The 1100 Millecento site sits one block from Brickell City Centre, one block from Mary Brickell Village, and two blocks from the Brickell Avenue financial corridor and the Eighth Street Metromover station, with the Underline linear park running directly past the building toward Coconut Grove. The Miami River walkway is three blocks north, Biscayne Bay six blocks east, and 1100 Millecento is roughly ten minutes from Miami Beach over the MacArthur Causeway and fifteen from Miami International Airport via the Dolphin Expressway.
