Quantum on the Bay · #1517

Quantum on the Bay is a two-tower bayfront condominium complex at 1900 N Bayshore Drive in Edgewater, Miami, developed by Terra Group and designed by Nichols Brosch Sandoval & Associates. The South Tower of Quantum rises 51 stories to 554 feet, and the North Tower reaches 44 stories at 536 feet; both towers were structurally completed in January 2008 and opened in April 2008. The complex contains roughly 698 condominium units across studios, one- through three-bedroom layouts, and penthouses, with interior floor plans ranging from 594 to 2,255 square feet. Residences include floor-to-ceiling windows oriented toward Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline, open kitchens, and balconies on nearly every line. The 1900 Bayshore site sits on the western edge of Biscayne Bay just south of the Venetian Causeway, a position that places Quantum on the Bay within walking distance of Margaret Pace Park, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, and the Omni Metromover station. The Edgewater corridor along Bayshore Drive has filled in over the past decade with Aria on the Bay, Biscayne Beach, and Missoni Baia, but Quantum remains one of the larger established communities, and its block-deep parcel preserves uninterrupted bay frontage. Residents reach Brickell, downtown, the Design District, and Wynwood within roughly 10 minutes by car, and the MacArthur and Venetian causeways carry them onto Miami Beach. Quantum on the Bay's amenity deck is sized to the building's scale. Residents have access to two swimming pools, a two-story fitness center, a sauna, a two-story club room with a kitchen and billiards, a theater room, a gallery space, a business center, a convenience store, 24-hour concierge, 24-hour valet, and 24-hour security. The ground-floor retail bay houses cafés and service tenants, and the building permits leases of six months or longer, which has kept it active with both owner-occupants and longer-term renters. HOA assessments cover water, cable, and access to the full amenity program at Quantum.
