Echo Brickell is a 57-story bayfront tower at 1451 Brickell Avenue, completed in 2017 by Property Markets Group (PMG) and JDS Development Group. Architecture is by Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott, who designed Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, the National Bank of Dubai, and the Opera Bastille in Paris; interiors and common areas at Echo Brickell were designed by yoo Studio. The Echo program holds 171 residences in one- to four-bedroom configurations, with a remarkable 180 different floor plans across the building, including a two-story penthouse personally designed by Carlos Ott. Standard residences include 10-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass, semi-private elevator entries, marble flooring, Italian cabinetry, and integrated smart-home audio, video, and lighting systems controlled through in-wall touch panels. Biscayne Bay views east of the Echo Brickell building run uninterrupted to Key Biscayne, with the Rickenbacker Causeway and Virginia Key sitting just south of the bay-view sight line. Brickell Key and the Mandarin Oriental hotel sit two blocks east.
