Echo Brickell · #1002

Echo Brickell is a 57-story bayfront tower at 1451 Brickell Avenue, completed in 2017 by Property Markets Group (PMG) and JDS Development Group. Architecture is by Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott, who designed Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, the National Bank of Dubai, and the Opera Bastille in Paris; interiors and common areas at Echo Brickell were designed by yoo Studio. The Echo program holds 171 residences in one- to four-bedroom configurations, with a remarkable 180 different floor plans across the building, including a two-story penthouse personally designed by Carlos Ott. Standard residences include 10-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass, semi-private elevator entries, marble flooring, Italian cabinetry, and integrated smart-home audio, video, and lighting systems controlled through in-wall touch panels. Echo sits at the south end of Brickell Avenue, two blocks south of Brickell Key, three blocks from Mary Brickell Village, and four blocks from Brickell City Centre. The Brickell Avenue stretch between SE 13th and SE 17th streets has the densest concentration of luxury condominium addresses in Miami, including Santa Maria, Bristol Tower, Una Residences, and St. Regis Residences. The Underline park runs west along South Miami Avenue under the elevated Metromover, and the Brickell Metromover station feeds into the larger Downtown loop. Biscayne Bay views east of the Echo Brickell building run uninterrupted to Key Biscayne, with the Rickenbacker Causeway and Virginia Key sitting just south of the bay-view sight line. Brickell Key and the Mandarin Oriental hotel sit two blocks east. The Echo Brickell amenity floor cantilevers over Brickell Avenue with a vanishing-edge pool overlooking Biscayne Bay, served by poolside towel service and hot tubs. Indoor amenities include a 4,000-square-foot fitness center, a full-service spa, a residents' lounge, and a chef-grade catering kitchen for owner events. Service runs across pet-walking, dry cleaning, on-site housekeeping, and 24-hour concierge, valet, and security. The boutique unit count, the Ott design pedigree, and the prime bayfront Brickell Avenue siting have kept Echo among the highest per-square-foot Brickell condominium addresses since delivery.
