Tidemark at Key Colony · #1235

Tidemark at Key Colony is a 12-story oceanfront condominium at 201 Crandon Boulevard on Key Biscayne, the first of four towers built inside the gated Key Colony community alongside Oceansound, Emerald Bay and Botanica. Tidemark was developed by Fritz Scharenberg, with sources placing completion in 1978 or 1981, and houses 282 to 286 residences laid out as one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom homes plus a few five-bedroom plans, ranging from roughly 1,009 to over 3,250 square feet and up to 3,771 square feet at the largest end. The signature feature at Tidemark is its pyramid-stepped silhouette, with each floor inset on a 32-degree slope so terraces step back as the building rises, giving nearly every Tidemark residence open ocean, bay or pool-deck sightlines. The Tidemark site fronts the Atlantic at the northern end of the Key Colony master plan, with the Key Colony Olympic lap pool and tennis center stretching south through the property, more than 1,000 feet of private beach lining the dune walk and a small on-site retail center with a market, salon and restaurant inside the gates. Crandon Boulevard runs immediately west of Tidemark and connects north to Crandon Park, Crandon Park Beach and the Crandon Tennis Center, and south through the Village of Key Biscayne to Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park and the historic Cape Florida Lighthouse. Residences at Tidemark at Key Colony feature private balconies on the stepped pyramid plan, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, granite kitchen counters in most renovated homes, generous primary suites and corner exposures across many floor plans. Owners share the Key Colony amenity package, which includes the building-specific Tidemark swimming pool, the Olympic lap pool at the center of the community, an adults-only oceanfront pool, twelve tennis courts at the Key Colony tennis center, a Jacuzzi, a fitness center with sauna and steam, a game room, beach cabanas, jogging paths through landscaped grounds, a children's playground, a 24-hour attended guard gate, valet parking, covered parking and full-time on-site management.
