Asia Brickell Key · #2405

Asia is a 36-story ultra-luxury condominium at 900 Brickell Key Boulevard, sitting at the northern tip of Brickell Key near the mouth of the Miami River. Completed in 2008 by Swire Properties with architecture by J. Scott Architecture, Asia delivered just 123 residences, with two-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom layouts plus a set of penthouses on the upper floors. Each unit has a private elevator entry, 12-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass, and a wraparound terrace, with views that take in the Miami River, Biscayne Bay, the downtown skyline, and the cruise ships entering and leaving Government Cut. Asia was Swire's lowest-density tower on the island when delivered, with a unit-per-floor count averaging fewer than four homes, and the building remains one of the smallest-by-unit-count high-rise condominiums in greater downtown Miami. Asia's Brickell Key address gives it the island's quiet, gated setup along with the strongest siting on the key: at the northern tip, the building's bay-facing units look directly across to the Port of Miami, South Beach, and the bridges arching over the river. The Brickell Key baywalk loops past the building's frontage and connects south to the Mandarin Oriental and the central plaza of restaurants and small retail. The Brickell mainland is across a single causeway, with Brickell City Centre, Mary Brickell Village, and the Metromover Knight Center station all reachable within a short walk or quick drive. The island also includes a small park with a children's playground, a Publix Sabor, and the cluster of restaurants at the Mandarin and the central plaza, giving residents a self-contained daily-life loop without leaving the key. Interiors at Asia Brickell Key were finished to a higher standard than the rest of the island, with Italian-designed wood cabinetry, granite countertops, Miele and Sub-Zero kitchens, Italian marble flooring, and oversized soaking tubs in the primary baths. Amenities include a heated bayfront pool with cabanas, a fitness center, a spa with steam and sauna, a residents' club lounge, a billiards room, a wine cellar, a screening room, a children's playroom, and 24-hour concierge and valet at the porte cochere. Asia is generally regarded as the top-tier address among Brickell Key's condominium towers given the unit count and finishes, and resale pricing at Asia consistently leads the island on a per-square-foot basis.
