Costa Bella · #1215

Costa Bella is a 21-story bayfront condominium at 1450 Brickell Bay Drive in southern Brickell, Miami, completed in 1977 and containing 195 residences. The Costa Bella tower sits directly on Biscayne Bay with east-facing units overlooking the water and the Rickenbacker Causeway, and unit sizes at Costa Bella range from 900 to 2,080 square feet across one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts. Residences at the Costa Bella Brickell tower feature spacious open layouts inherited from 1970s construction, large private balconies, full-size laundry rooms, and wide bay views that the newer infill towers along Brickell Avenue cannot replicate. Many Costa Bella units have been renovated with porcelain or hardwood flooring, modern kitchens, and updated bathrooms. The 1450 Brickell Bay Drive address sits on the quieter southern stretch of the Brickell waterfront, with the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences and the Mandarin Oriental Miami within walking distance. Mary Brickell Village is a 10-minute walk west, Brickell City Centre is roughly half a mile north, and the Rickenbacker Causeway entrance is two blocks south, providing direct access to Crandon Park, the Miami Seaquarium, Virginia Key Beach, and Key Biscayne. The bayfront promenade along Brickell Bay Drive connects Costa Bella to the Simpson Park hammock nature preserve and to the boardwalk leading north toward Brickell Key. Costa Bella amenities include a bayfront swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a tennis court, a fitness center, a barbecue and picnic area, a community room, gated entry, and 24-hour security. The Costa Bella site also offers assigned covered parking, a bayfront walking path, and tropical landscaped grounds that occupy a larger footprint than the typical Brickell tower lot. Costa Bella appeals to buyers who want true bayfront living, larger floor plans, and a quieter park-like setting at a price below the new construction at 1428 Brickell or 88 Brickell, and the building's 1977 vintage means individual units retain the wide hallways, large closet space, and full-size laundry rooms that newer Brickell construction routinely value-engineers out.
