Marbella · #705

Marbella is a 12-story oceanfront boutique condominium at 9341 Collins Avenue in Surfside, the quiet Atlantic beachfront village immediately south of Bal Harbour. The building was completed in 1989, designed by local architecture firm SKLARchitecture, and is recognizable for its trademark soft-pink and aqua coastal-deco trim that anchors the Surfside skyline at 93rd Street. Marbella contains approximately 87 residences with one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans ranging from roughly 962 to 1,863 interior square feet. The building is configured with just four residences per elevator landing, delivering a greater level of privacy than is typical along Collins Avenue, and units feature floor-to-ceiling glass, in-unit washer and dryer, walk-in closets, and spacious balconies framing direct Atlantic or Intracoastal views. The Marbella site sits between the Surfside Community Center to the south and Bal Harbour Village to the north, putting residents within a five-block walk of Bal Harbour Shops and the Saks Fifth Avenue/Neiman Marcus retail district. Harding Avenue, Surfside's primary commercial corridor, runs one block west with Carpaccio at Bal Harbour Shops, Le Zoo, Makoto, the Bal Harbour Bal Bay Drive marina, and a cluster of Harding-side kosher restaurants. Publix and the Surfside post office anchor the village center, the Surfside tennis center and North Shore Open Space Park are walking distance, and the Atlantic boardwalk runs directly behind the building, connecting north to Haulover Park and south through Mid-Beach. Marbella runs a full-service oceanfront amenity package geared toward year-round resort-style living: a heated oceanfront swimming pool, Jacuzzi, fitness center, sauna, library, events and social room, 24-hour security, and full valet service. The building sits directly on the Atlantic with private beach access and a beachfront pool deck, and the four-per-floor elevator configuration gives Marbella the intimate scale and privacy that newer high-density Collins Avenue towers cannot replicate. For buyers seeking established Surfside beachfront condominium living with full amenities and a true walkable village location, Marbella remains one of the most coveted addresses in the neighborhood.
