50 Biscayne · #811

50 Biscayne is a 54-story tower at 50 Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami, directly across from Bayfront Park. Construction began in 2005 and the 50 Biscayne building opened on November 15, 2007. The Related Group developed the property with Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership on design, with Rockwell Group reportedly contributing to design components per Wikipedia. The program holds 527 residences in studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts ranging roughly 567 to 1,789 interior square feet plus balcony. The tower's neon-orange illuminated crown is one of the more recognizable elements in the Downtown Miami skyline at night, serving as a visual landmark visible from Brickell, the MacArthur Causeway, and points across Biscayne Bay. The 50 Biscayne address sits on the Downtown waterfront side of Biscayne Boulevard, across from the 32-acre Bayfront Park and within blocks of Bayside Marketplace, the KASEYA Center, and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. The Miami Worldcenter mixed-use district is two blocks west, the MiamiCentral Brightline and Tri-Rail station four blocks west, and the College/Bayside Metromover station one block north. Brickell sits across the Brickell Bridge a 15-minute walk south along the Brickell Avenue corridor, and Whole Foods Market is two blocks west on Biscayne Boulevard. The MacArthur Causeway provides direct access to South Beach across Biscayne Bay in under 10 minutes. Residences include 9- to 10-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows with bay and park views, Italian marble flooring, European cabinetry, Sub-Zero refrigerators, and Miele appliances. The 50 Biscayne amenity deck on the 12th floor holds a 160-foot lap pool with poolside cabanas, a fitness center, sauna and steam rooms, formal and informal club rooms, a yoga and Pilates studio, a theater room, a wine cellar, and a children's playroom. The building runs 24-hour concierge, valet, and security across both residential and amenity floors. The Bayfront Park frontage and the neon crown have kept 50 Biscayne among the more recognizable Downtown addresses since opening, and the building consistently draws renters working at the office towers along South Biscayne Boulevard.
