Grovenor House · #1803

Grovenor House is a 32-story bayfront condominium at 2627 South Bayshore Drive in Coconut Grove. Completed in 2005 by developer Ugo Colombo and his CMC Group, with architecture by Revuelta Vega Leon, the tower holds 166 residences across two-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom floor plans, plus penthouses. The Grovenor House site covers about three and a half acres of landscaped grounds across from Dinner Key, and units throughout the tower carry floor-to-ceiling glass that opens onto wraparound terraces facing Biscayne Bay, the Coconut Grove marina, or the downtown Miami skyline. The Grovenor House floor plate is unusually deep for a Coconut Grove tower of this vintage, which gives the larger units a true four-exposure layout on the upper levels. The building sits on the Bayshore Drive corridor that has become the spine of high-rise Coconut Grove. Within a short walk are Monty's Seafood Restaurant, the Coconut Grove Sailing Club, and Dinner Key Marina. The Coconut Grove Playhouse, CocoWalk, and Peacock Park are about ten minutes on foot, and the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens sits a few minutes north along Bayshore. Grovenor House is also within a short drive of the Ritz-Carlton Residences, Mr. C Bayshore, and Park Grove, anchoring the Bayshore line of bayfront residential towers between Mercy Hospital and the Grove village. Coral Gables, the University of Miami, and the Brickell financial district sit within ten to fifteen minutes, with Miami International Airport about twenty minutes northwest. Grovenor House amenities include an infinity-edge swimming pool with poolside cabanas, a full-service spa, a fitness center, a private tennis court, a children's playground, full-service concierge, and 24-hour valet parking. Residences at Grovenor House typically feature private elevator foyers on the larger plans, marble or wood flooring, gourmet kitchens with imported cabinetry, and primary suites with bay-view terraces. The building's two- to five-bedroom mix, combined with the spa and tennis on the property, has positioned Grovenor House as a long-stay rather than pied-a-terre building, and many of the upper-floor penthouses were combined at delivery into single homes spanning entire floors.
