The Sail · #1908

The Sail on Brickell is a 30-story condominium at 170 SE 14th Street in Miami's Brickell neighborhood, developed by Renzo Renzi and designed by Collado & Partners. Completed in 2006, The Sail tower contains 152 residences split evenly between one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts, with floor plans from 630 to 1,090 interior square feet plus private balconies. Residences at The Sail on Brickell feature floor-to-ceiling glass, open kitchen layouts, European cabinetry, granite or stone countertops, porcelain tile flooring, and full-size laundry rooms, and the building's compact footprint and even one-/two-bedroom mix produce a less investor-heavy profile than many other Brickell mid-rises of the same era. The 170 SE 14th Street address sits between the Emerald at Brickell tower and Fortune House in the densest stretch of Brickell, two blocks west of Brickell Avenue. The Sail Brickell location is within a five-minute walk of Brickell City Centre, the Saks Fifth Avenue at Brickell City Centre, and the Cinepolis dine-in theater, and the Tenth Street/Promenade Metromover station is a four-minute walk north. Mary Brickell Village sits two blocks west, the Four Seasons Hotel Miami and the Mandarin Oriental are within walking distance, and the Rickenbacker Causeway entrance to Key Biscayne is half a mile south. The Sail on Brickell amenities include a swimming pool with sundeck, a fitness center with cardio and weight equipment, a sauna, a club room with catering kitchen, a business center, a ground-floor beauty salon, covered garage parking with assigned spaces, and a 24-hour front desk and security. The Collado & Partners-designed lobby and amenity floor extend the contemporary glass-and-stone aesthetic of the Sail Brickell exterior into the public spaces, and the building's distinctive sail-shaped curtainwall identifies The Sail tower from blocks away along SE 14th Street. The Sail at Brickell offers a compact one- and two-bedroom-only mix at a walkable Financial District address, attracting professionals, couples, and pied-a-terre buyers who want central Brickell access without paying new-construction prices, and the 152-unit count keeps the pool deck and gym usable rather than crowded.
