Skyline on Brickell · #2011

Skyline on Brickell is a 35-story bayfront condominium at 2101 Brickell Avenue, completed in 2004 by Skyline Equities Realty and designed by Bermello Ajamil & Partners. The Skyline on Brickell tower delivered 360 residences in one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans ranging from 791 to 1,762 interior square feet, with floor-to-ceiling glass, open European-style kitchens, granite countertops, stainless appliance packages, full-size in-unit washer/dryer, and private balconies. The site sits directly across from Bristol Tower on the bayfront side of Brickell Avenue, with east-facing residences capturing direct Biscayne Bay exposures and higher floors looking down across the marina and Key Biscayne beyond. The 2101 Brickell Avenue address sits in southern Brickell at the corner of SE 21st Road, on the bayfront section of Millionaires' Row immediately south of the curving Bristol Tower silhouette. The Rickenbacker Causeway entrance to Key Biscayne, Crandon Park, and Virginia Key is a three-minute drive south, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is six minutes south, and Coconut Grove's CocoWalk, Regatta Park, and Dinner Key Marina are 10 minutes further south on Bayshore Drive. Brickell City Centre with its Saks Fifth Avenue, Apple, and CMX cinema is a five-minute drive north, Mary Brickell Village with its Publix is roughly the same, and the Brickell Metrorail station and the Underline park along the M-Path are six blocks northwest. Simpson Park Hammock -- three blocks west -- preserves a 7-acre fragment of original pine rockland. The Skyline on Brickell amenity program leans more outdoor and resort than the typical Brickell tower. The deck includes a heated swimming pool and sundeck, a sand volleyball court (rare on Brickell), a lighted tennis court, an outdoor BBQ and lounge area, a children's playground, a residents-only dog park, a high-tech fitness center, a sauna, an on-site cafe, a private marina, and private storage units assigned to each unit. Service includes 24-hour gated security, valet parking, on-site management, and controlled-access doorman. The sand volleyball court, on-site cafe, and dog park give Skyline on Brickell a profile that newer corridor towers do not match.
