Star Lofts · #1801

Star Lofts is a 24-story boutique waterfront condominium at 700 NE 25th Street in Edgewater, delivered in 2007 by Sunborne Development with architecture by Bernard Zyscovich and interiors by The Gershon Group. The Star Lofts building holds just 47 loft-style residences in one- and two-bedroom configurations plus penthouses, a deliberately small unit count for a 24-story building that allows for full-floor and half-floor plates and the double-height loft volumes the project is named for. Residences at the Star Lofts condo feature exposed ductwork, soaring ceiling heights up to roughly 20 feet in the double-volume units, floor-to-ceiling glass, open-plan kitchens with stainless appliances and stone counters, in-unit laundry, and private balconies with bay or Edgewater skyline orientations. Many units at Star Lofts on the Bay have direct Biscayne Bay water views thanks to the slender, bay-fronting floor plate. The Edgewater address puts Star Lofts a short walk from Margaret Pace Park along the bay, with the Adrienne Arsht Center, the Pérez Art Museum Miami, Frost Science, and MiamiCentral Brightline station each within roughly a mile to the south on Biscayne Boulevard. Wynwood Walls and the gallery spine of NW 2nd Avenue sit about a mile west, the Miami Design District is roughly a mile and a half north, and Midtown Miami's Target/Trader Joe's hub is a five-minute drive. The KASEYA Center and Bayfront Park are about two miles south down Biscayne, and the MacArthur Causeway to South Beach is a quick run via 17th Street. The Star Lofts amenity program is calibrated to its 47-residence scale, with a rooftop infinity-edge pool overlooking Biscayne Bay, an outdoor jacuzzi, a fitness center, a private massage room, a meditation garden and yoga/chi lounge for quiet outdoor wellness, and a pet-friendly policy that makes the building one of the more accommodating boutique addresses in Edgewater. Service includes 24-hour manned security, valet parking, and assigned garage parking. The combination of small floor count and double-height lofts gives Star Lofts a different residential character than the larger 300- and 400-unit towers that dominate the neighborhood.
