Two Tequesta Point · #2102

Two Tequesta Point is a 40-story bayfront condominium at 808 Brickell Key Drive on the southern half of Brickell Key, completed in 1998 by Swire Properties with architecture by J. Scott Architecture. The tower delivered roughly 268 residences across one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts, with wraparound terraces, floor-to-ceiling glass, and a floor plate sized to give most homes a corner-style exposure facing Biscayne Bay, the ocean inlet, or the downtown skyline. Two Tequesta Point sits between One Tequesta Point and Three Tequesta Point, forming the southern cluster of the Tequesta Point sub-development on the island. The Tequesta Point name references the indigenous Tequesta people who occupied the mouth of the Miami River centuries before European contact, and the series of three towers was Swire's late-1990s expansion of the island master plan. The 808 Brickell Key Drive site keeps Two Tequesta Point inside the gated, low-traffic island layout that defines Brickell Key, with the perimeter baywalk looping past the building's frontage and connecting south to the Mandarin Oriental at the island's tip. The central plaza of restaurants, small retail, and the island park are short walks across the key. Across the single causeway, Brickell City Centre, Mary Brickell Village, and the Metromover Knight Center station are reachable on foot or by quick ride, and Bayfront Park, the Kaseya Center, and the Brightline MiamiCentral station are a short drive north. South Beach is a quick crossing via the MacArthur Causeway, and the island also includes the small Brickell Key Park with a children's playground for resident use. The Two Tequesta Point amenity program includes a heated bayfront swimming pool and sundeck, a separate lap pool, a fitness center, tennis courts, a sauna, a residents' lounge, a business center, a children's playroom, and 24-hour concierge and security at the porte cochere. The building has an attended valet, a controlled-access lobby, and on-site management, plus shared access to the island-wide baywalk and park. Two Tequesta Point tends to draw buyers who want a southern-facing Brickell Key tower with the wider unit-size range that the Tequesta Point series offers, and the building's middle position within the cluster gives it relatively balanced views toward both Biscayne Bay and the Brickell skyline depending on the unit's side of the floor plate.
