The Surf Club Four Seasons · #S-401

The Surf Club Four Seasons occupies 9001 and 9111 Collins Avenue on a nine-acre oceanfront site in Surfside, anchored by the restored 1930 Russell Pancoast-designed Surf Club clubhouse. The Surf Club Four Seasons development was completed in 2017 by Fort Partners under the design lead of Pritzker laureate Richard Meier, with Miami architect Kobi Karp on the local architecture-of-record and interiors by Joseph Dirand and Lee Mindel. Two 12-story residential towers at The Surf Club Four Seasons flank the historic clubhouse and hold roughly 144 condominium residences, including 14 penthouses. Residences at The Surf Club Four Seasons range from approximately 1,800 to 7,800 square feet, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls that slide open onto oceanfront terraces up to 18 feet deep and ceilings reaching 20 feet in select layouts. Surfside is a one-square-mile incorporated town between Bal Harbour to the north and Miami Beach to the south, with Collins Avenue running the length of the oceanfront. The Surf Club site at 9001 and 9111 Collins Avenue sits on 965 feet of beach frontage, one of the largest contiguous oceanfront expanses of any condominium parcel in South Florida. Bal Harbour Shops sit two blocks north, the Bay Harbor Islands restaurant cluster sits across the 96th Street causeway, and the South Beach Art Deco district begins about a fifteen-minute drive south on Collins Avenue. The Town of Surfside operates its own community center and 9-acre beach at 93rd Street, three blocks south of the Surf Club Four Seasons property. The Surf Club Four Seasons brings the Four Seasons brand to the residential program through a 77-room Four Seasons Hotel that occupies the historic clubhouse. Residential amenities at The Surf Club include four oceanfront swimming pools, more than 40 beach cabanas, a Four Seasons spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, the restored Champagne Lounge, and dining at Le Sirenuse Miami and the original 1930 Surf Club restaurant. Residents have access to the full hotel service program, including 24-hour concierge, valet, and in-residence dining. The combination of the Meier-Karp design pairing, the Pancoast historic shell, the nine-acre footprint, and the Four Seasons service tier has kept the Surf Club Four Seasons at the top of the Surfside oceanfront market.
