Casa Del Mar Condos · #23C

Casa Del Mar is a landmark oceanfront condominium tower at 881 Ocean Drive on Key Biscayne, completed in 1971 as the very first high-rise residential building constructed on the barrier island. The 27-story tower contains approximately 197 spacious two- and three-bedroom residences with 'flow-through' floor plans ranging from roughly 930 to 3,120 interior square feet, each with private balconies, expansive layouts, and direct views of the Atlantic Ocean, Crandon Park, Biscayne Bay, and the Miami skyline. The pioneer-era scale and oversized floor plans are difficult to replicate in newer Key Biscayne construction, and Casa Del Mar has remained one of the defining establishment-era family-luxury addresses on the island for more than five decades. The 881 Ocean Drive address sits on a beautifully landscaped beachfront parcel midway between the Village of Key Biscayne and Crandon Park, with the Crandon Park Tennis Center (longtime host of the Miami Open) and Crandon Park Marina a short bike ride north and Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park and the Cape Florida Lighthouse to the south. The Village center -- with its top-rated public schools, the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, the Winn-Dixie/CVS shopping district, and Key Biscayne's restaurants -- is walking or biking distance. The Rickenbacker Causeway connects Casa Del Mar to Brickell, Downtown Miami, Miami International Airport, and Coral Gables in roughly 15 to 25 minutes. Amenities at Casa Del Mar are built around an active oceanfront family lifestyle: a heated waterfront swimming pool with tiki huts and expansive sun deck, beachfront access with valet service, a state-of-the-art fitness center, two Har-Tru-style clay tennis courts, an oceanside BBQ area with gas grills, lushly landscaped resort grounds, a children's playroom, a game room, a library, and a private party and ballroom space available for resident events. Service includes covered parking, 24-hour security, on-site management, and a well-attended lobby. The combination of pioneer-era oversized floor plans, full amenities, direct beach access, and Casa Del Mar's central village location continues to position the building as one of the most coveted family-luxury Key Biscayne addresses.
