One Ocean sits at 1 Collins Avenue on the southernmost block of South of Fifth, where Government Cut meets the Atlantic at the foot of South Pointe Park. The 7-story building was developed by The Related Group and designed by Mexican architect Enrique Norten of TEN Arquitectos, with construction completing in 2016. One Ocean delivers 50 residences in one- through five-bedroom layouts, with interiors by Yabu Pushelberg, landscape architecture by Swiss designer Enzo Enea, and ornamental feature work by Cuban artist José Bedia. The low-rise twin-tower massing at One Ocean was conceived to step down toward South Pointe Park and the cruise-ship inlet rather than compete with the high-rise wall further north along Collins, and residences feature private elevator access, custom Italian kitchens, floor-to-ceiling glass with Atlantic or Government Cut frontage, and oversized terraces oriented south toward Fisher Island. One Ocean's SoFi address places it at the foot of South Pointe Park, with the Government Cut pier walk, the Smith & Wollensky terrace, and the cruise channel directly across the street where ships pass within feet of the shoreline. Joe's Stone Crab, Prime 112, Milos, and the SoFi restaurant cluster on Washington and Ocean Drive sit within two blocks, while the South Beach Marina, the Continuum bay walk, and the Murano towers are around the corner along Alton. The Mandarin Oriental Brickell Key is roughly 10 minutes west via the MacArthur Causeway, and the Fisher Island ferry terminal sits a half mile west at Terminal Island. MacArthur Causeway access on Fifth Street puts Brickell City Centre, Mary Brickell Village, and PAMM within a 12-minute drive, and Lummus Park and the Art Deco District begin at Fifth and Ocean two blocks north of the building. Amenities at One Ocean lean private and service-heavy for a 50-unit building: an 80-foot lap pool with full poolside service, a separate spa pool, the Yabu Pushelberg-designed lobby and residents' lounge, a complete fitness center with Atlantic views, a spa with treatment rooms, a private wine room with locker storage, beach service with cabana rental at the building's beach access, 24-hour concierge and valet, dedicated porter service, and direct elevator access to most residences. Several One Ocean penthouses include private rooftop terraces and plunge pools, and the Enzo Enea-designed gardens that wrap the building serve as a quiet buffer between the residences and Collins.
