500 Brickell West Tower is the western of two condominium towers in the larger 500 Brickell complex at 55 SE 6th Street, completed in 2008 by The Related Group. Arquitectonica designed both towers, which rise 42 floors each and are connected at the top by a roof with a 75-foot circular oculus that drops natural light onto an 11th-floor circular pool deck below. Michael Wolk Design Associates designed the common areas. The West Tower program holds 315 residences in one- and two-bedroom configurations plus penthouses, with non-penthouse layouts ranging roughly 811 to 1,319 interior square feet plus balcony. Bayfront Park, the KASEYA Center, and Bayside Marketplace sit across the Brickell Bridge in Downtown Miami within a 15-minute walk. The MiamiCentral Brightline station sits in Downtown roughly a mile north, providing direct rail service to Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Orlando. Residences at 500 Brickell West carry floor-to-ceiling windows, Italian cabinetry, granite and quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and integrated smart-building technology. The amenity stack is shared across both towers, anchored by the 11th-floor circular pool deck under the rooftop oculus and a smaller rooftop pool on the 42nd floor of the East Tower. Additional amenities at 500 Brickell include a spa and fitness center, a club room with billiards, a wine cellar, a theater room, a sundeck with cabanas, and 24-hour concierge and valet. The West Tower allows shorter lease terms than the East Tower, which gives owners more rental flexibility and has historically driven its stronger investor appeal compared to its sibling building.
