Alhambra Towers is a 16-story Mediterranean-style Class A building at 121 Alhambra Plaza in downtown Coral Gables, completed in 2003 by The Allen Morris Company and designed by Associated Consulting International. The Alhambra Towers building rises about 295 feet over the Coral Gables skyline and carries approximately 174,000 rentable square feet, anchored by a three-tower massing that gives the building its distinctive silhouette along Alhambra Circle. The complex at Alhambra Towers is primarily a Class A office property, with corporate tenants such as Quest Workspaces filling its upper floors, and the building has been recognized as one of the most prominent commercial addresses in Coral Gables. Note that Alhambra Towers is not a residential condominium, which sets it apart from neighbors like 55 Merrick or 100 Andalusia a few blocks east. The Mediterranean Revival exterior carries the barrel-tile roof, stucco walls, and arched window vocabulary that defines George Merrick's original Coral Gables plan, scaled up to a 16-story massing that remains one of the tallest Class A office addresses in the City Beautiful core.
