The Ritz-Carlton Residences, North Bay Village

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, North Bay Village is the name attached to the planned two-tower condominium development by Related Group and Macklowe Properties on Harbor Island, at 8000 and 7946 East Drive in North Bay Village. The Real Deal reported in October 2025 that the partners were in talks with Ritz-Carlton to brand the project. As of 2026 the brand had not been formally announced. This is Harry Macklowe's first development in South Florida, and Related is leading it through an affiliate, Harbor Island Development Company. Arquitectonica designed the plan, which calls for two 43-story towers of about 498 feet holding 364 condominium residences in one- to four-bedroom layouts. The partners assembled more than 4.1 acres on Biscayne Bay, including the former Biscayne Sea Club co-op and the Majestic Isle condominium. North Bay Village commissioners approved the project's special area plan in two votes, in July and September 2025. A shoreline development review application went to Miami-Dade County in February 2026. The site plan is built around the water. It includes a 42-slip private marina with direct access to Biscayne Bay, a 9,000-square-foot public waterfront park and roughly 1,289 linear feet of public walkway that extends the village's Island Walk promenade. An attached garage would hold about 800 parking spaces, roughly two per residence. North Bay Village sits on the 79th Street Causeway, between mainland Miami and Miami Beach. Sales have not launched. Pricing, floor plans, deposit terms, the amenity program and a delivery date have not been published.
