The Perigon is a 17-story oceanfront condominium at 5333 Collins Avenue in Mid-Beach, developed by Mast Capital in a joint venture with an affiliate of Starwood Capital Group. The tower was designed by OMA, the firm founded by Rem Koolhaas, and is OMA's first residential project in Miami Beach. Interiors are by Tara Bernerd, landscape architecture is by Gustafson Porter + Bowman, and Moss Construction is the general contractor. The project closed $390 million in construction financing in early 2025 and topped out in March 2026. The developer now lists occupancy for summer 2027. The building holds roughly 72 to 73 two- to four-bedroom residences, with the developer's March 2026 announcement citing 72 and its website citing 73. Homes are planned with oversized terraces, flow-through living and dining areas and views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay, and the site has almost 200 feet of shoreline. At the March 2026 top-off, the development team said the project was approaching sellout, with remaining residences priced from $12.55 million. The private amenity program covers more than 20,000 square feet. It includes Nota, an oceanfront restaurant, and FiftyThree, a residents-only speakeasy, both led by Michelin-starred chef Shaun Hergatt. Residents also get a 25-meter beachfront lap pool, a private beach club, spa and wellness facilities, a fitness center, a screening room and a double-height lobby lounge. Services include a lifestyle concierge, a residential butler, 24-hour security, valet, a house car and in-residence dining. With few residences left in a building this close to delivery, buyers should confirm current availability, the deposit schedule and the association budget before comparing it with other Mid-Beach oceanfront options.
