Onda Residences · #202

Onda Residences is a boutique bayfront condominium at 1135 103rd Street in Bay Harbor Islands, developed by Ugo Colombo's CMC Group with Valerio Morabito of Morabito Properties. Construction completed in 2024 after a 2021 sales launch, and the eight-story building holds 41 residences across the bayfront site, with roughly 300 linear feet of water frontage facing Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic horizon. Architecture is by Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica, whose curving facade nods to the project's name - onda meaning wave in Italian - while interiors are by Carlo and Paolo Colombo of A++ Human Sustainable Architecture and landscape is by Enzo Enea. The Onda Bay Harbor Islands site sits on the northern shore of the island, a five-minute walk to Kane Concourse and a four-minute drive to Bal Harbour Shops, where Saks, Neiman Marcus, La Goulue, and Le Zoo anchor the open-air shopping deck. Surfside's commercial strip on Harding Avenue, with Carbone and the Surfside Community Center pool, is roughly six minutes south. The Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K-8 Center is within walking distance, and the Broad Causeway connects to I-95 in under ten minutes for trips to Wynwood, the Design District, or Brickell. The neighborhood feels low-rise and residential in a way that the larger Sunny Isles condo corridor a few minutes north does not. Residence layouts at Onda Miami run from two- to four-bedroom plus den plans between roughly 1,809 and 3,535 square feet, with larger penthouses crossing 5,000 square feet, plus floor-to-ceiling impact sliding glass, Snaidero kitchens with Miele packages, Italian marble baths, and in-residence air and water filtration. Amenities are equally controlled in scale: a rooftop pool with summer kitchen, a private marina with 15 slips sized for 36- to 60-foot vessels, direct ocean access through Haulover Inlet, a water sports launch dock, spa and fitness, FTTH fiber infrastructure, and 24-hour valet. For buyers who liked the CMC pedigree but want something smaller than a Brickell tower, Onda is the family-scale alternative.
