Oceania V is a waterfront condominium at 16500 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, completed in 2002 as the second and newest tower on Oceania Island, the gated Intracoastal-side enclave it shares with Oceania IV. Residents pass a 24-hour guarded gate, and the tower looks over the marina and the bay, with ocean views across Collins Avenue from the upper floors. Miami-Dade property records list 156 residences and 11 deeded cabanas. The tower is built mostly around two-bedroom homes: six residences per typical floor on the 51 to 56 lines, with two-bedroom plans of about 1,566 to 2,144 square feet and three-bedroom 56-line residences of about 2,280 to 2,340 square feet. The larger homes include five townhouses, TH-6 to TH-10, of about 3,175 to 3,774 square feet, such as TH-9 with its private garage and elevator; three TS residences of about 3,572 to 3,906 square feet with four bedrooms; and six penthouses, PH-A to PH-F, of about 3,188 to 4,224 square feet. A 2026 listing described PH-E as a two-level penthouse with ceilings of about 10.5 feet, and second-floor 54-line homes have ceilings of about 16 feet. Floor-to-ceiling glass, marble or porcelain floors and in-unit laundry are typical. Island amenities include a lap pool and hot tub, a fitness room with sauna, a children's play area, social rooms, a dog-walk area, tennis courts, concierge, valet and assigned garage parking. Ownership also brings the Oceania Club on the beach across Collins, with beach service, a cafe and fine-dining restaurant with delivery, a beauty salon, two gyms, a spa, squash and basketball courts and fitness classes. Dock slips in the Oceania marina come up for sale or rent; a 35-foot slip was offered for rent in August 2026. Oceania V condos sit near the Sunny Isles Boulevard causeway, with Oleta River State Park and North Miami Beach to the west and the beach and Newport Fishing Pier across the street. Aventura Mall and Bal Harbour Shops are a short drive. Oceania V shares the Oceania Club and marina with the four older towers but has its own association and island amenities. MLS records generally show up to two leases a year with six-month minimums, and one 2026 listing advertised a unit as free of assessments. No resales were recorded in the 12 months to October 2026; Oceania V condos for sale were asking about $895,000 to $2.3 million, and rentals ran about $5,500 to $13,700 a month.
