Porsche Design Tower is the most architecturally distinctive oceanfront condominium in Sunny Isles Beach, rising 60 stories and 641 feet at 18555 Collins Avenue on a 2.2-acre site with 400 feet of private white-sand beach. Porsche Design Tower was completed in January 2017 by Gil Dezer of Dezer Development, with architecture by Sieger Suarez Architects and the residential branding designed in collaboration with the Porsche Design Group out of Germany, and Coastal Construction as general contractor on a roughly 560 million dollar project. The Porsche Design Tower contains just 132 residences across more than 500,000 square feet of living space, with each home delivered as a flow-through floor plan in three- to five-bedroom layouts of approximately 4,252 to 16,915 square feet and a small collection of triplex penthouses reaching six bedrooms. The defining feature at Porsche Design Tower is the Dezervator, a patented robotic car elevator system that lifts owners and their vehicles from a ground-floor entry directly into a private sky garage adjacent to each residence in roughly 75 seconds, with three car elevators serving 284 parking spaces for 132 units so most owners can park two to four cars at their door. The Porsche Design Tower site sits between Golden Beach to the north and Bal Harbour to the south on Collins Avenue, with Aventura and the Aventura Mall a short drive inland across the Intracoastal Waterway. Residences at Porsche Design Tower feature 10-foot ceilings standard with 20-foot ceilings in duplex homes, Poggenpohl kitchen cabinetry with motorized doors, fully integrated Miele appliance packages with induction cooktops and speed-microwave ovens, Dornbracht fixtures, Toto automatic toilets with integrated bidets, granite or marble counters and oceanfront terraces that include a private 10-by-15-foot plunge pool and summer kitchen on every balcony.
