The Cloud One Hotel & Residences Wynwood is a boutique pre-construction hotel-and-condo development planned for 2215 NW 1st Place at the western edge of Miami's Wynwood arts district, with sales launched in 2025 and completion targeted for late 2027. The eight-story project is designed by a partnership between New York-based HWKN Architecture and Miami's ODP Architecture & Design, with interiors curated by London/Los Angeles studio March and White Design (MAWD), and the cloud-inspired massing introduces a distinctive silhouette to the Wynwood skyline. Cloud One Wynwood is being developed by Whale & Star Wynwood Owner LLC -- a joint venture of Germany's Motel One Group (the Munich-based operator of 100 hotels across 13 countries), Ralf Buschl of the Buschl Group, and Sebastian Ludke of ALP.X Group -- with Fortis Design + Build as local development manager. The 2215 NW 1st Place site sits on the western edge of the Wynwood arts district two blocks from the Wynwood Walls, the open-air mural park that established Wynwood as a global street-art destination. Residents step out into a neighborhood that has become Miami's design-driven creative core, surrounded by the Goldman Properties gallery program, the Margulies Collection at the Warehouse, the Rubell Museum in Allapattah, KYU, Coyo Taco, Wynwood Brewing, J. Wakefield Brewing, and the new corporate footprints of Amazon, Spotify, and Founders Fund along the Wynwood Norte corridor. Midtown Miami, the Miami Design District, and the Adrienne Arsht Center are within a five- to ten-minute drive, and the future Brightline Wynwood station is planned within walking distance. The Cloud One Hotel & Residences program combines a 214-key Cloud One boutique hotel on the lower floors with 85 condominium residences and 15 duplex penthouses on the upper three levels, accessed through a separate residential lobby. Residences run studio to three-bedroom layouts spanning roughly 450 to over 2,200 square feet, and penthouses include duplex layouts with ceiling heights up to 22 feet. Public and private spaces are activated by Goldman Global Arts -- the team behind Wynwood Walls -- and the amenity package includes a rooftop resort-style pool with cabanas and jacuzzi, juice and coffee bar, panoramic Wynwood and skyline views, a fitness center with outdoor yoga, indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar, co-working lounge, pup parlor, EV charging, bicycle storage, private elevators, and 24/7 valet and concierge service.
