Palau · #PH06

Palau Sunset Harbour sits at 1201 20th Street in Miami Beach, a five-story waterfront condominium designed by Kobi Karp and developed by SMG Management that delivered in 2016. The building carries 43 residences across one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts ranging from 780 to 1,995 interior square feet, with energy-efficient impact glass, oversized balconies, walk-in closets, and professional-grade kitchen packages with European cabinetry. The low-rise format and small unit count mark Palau as one of the more boutique post-2010 condos on Miami Beach, with a finish package and density that read closer to a private-residence-club asset than a mid-rise condo tower. Sunset Harbour occupies the western edge of South Beach between the Venetian Causeway and Lincoln Road, a former marina-and-warehouse pocket that became one of the city's most walkable food and fitness neighborhoods. Lucali, Macchialina, Pubbelly Sushi, the Standard Hotel, and Sunset Harbour Yacht Club all sit within a few blocks, and the Maurice Gibb Memorial Park overlooks the bay just across 20th Street. The corner location at Bay Road puts Palau Sunset Harbour two blocks from the Venetian Causeway entrance and a fifteen-minute walk to Lincoln Road. The Sunset Harbour Whole Foods, Barry's Bootcamp, SoulCycle, and a string of yoga and pilates studios within four blocks anchor the neighborhood's wellness footprint, and the Miami Beach Marina at the south end of Alton Road sits ten minutes south by car. The amenity program at Palau Sunset Harbour Miami Beach centers on a rooftop pool and sundeck with bay views, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a library and media room, secure bicycle storage that links to the neighborhood's cycling-heavy culture, and full-service concierge. Residents share the same waterway access used by neighboring yacht club members, and the building's height keeps sightlines toward Biscayne Bay relatively unobstructed compared with the taller Bay Road towers a few blocks south. The Palau 43-unit count and 2016 vintage position the building between the older South Beach condo stock and the newer ultra-luxury inventory built across the Bay since 2018, attracting end-users and long-term owners drawn to the Sunset Harbour walkability rather than oceanfront frontage.
