W South Beach · #428

W South Beach is a 20-story oceanfront condo-hotel residence at 2201 Collins Avenue, completed in 2009 on roughly 300 feet of Atlantic frontage at one of the widest stretches of sand in South Beach. The project was developed jointly by Tri Star Capital, Related Urban Development, and Starwood Properties, with architecture by Miami-based Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates and interiors by Toronto/New York studio Yabu Pushelberg. W South Beach contains 511 residences across studios and one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom layouts plus penthouses, all configured with floor-to-ceiling glass, deep oceanfront terraces, custom millwork, and a contemporary, art-forward interior palette informed by an on-site collection that includes original works by Andy Warhol and George Condo. The 22nd Street address places W South Beach Residences directly on the sand between Lincoln Road and Mid-Beach, a five-minute walk from Lincoln Road Mall's pedestrian shopping, the Miami Beach Convention Center, the New World Center designed by Frank Gehry, and Soundscape Park. Collins Park and the Bass Museum of Art sit one block west, the boutiques and restaurants of Sunset Harbour are a short bike ride across the island, and the Venetian Causeway provides a fast connection to Wynwood, the Design District, and Downtown Miami. The wide private beach, North Beach boardwalk to the north, and South Pointe Park to the south frame a continuous Atlantic shoreline experience. At W South Beach, residence ownership unlocks the full W Hotel platform, including the WET pool deck with two outdoor pools and private cabanas, the SAND full-service beach program with butler-style chair and umbrella attendants, rooftop SWISH & SWING basketball and tennis courts, and the 9,540-square-foot AWAY Spa with limestone steam showers, infrared sauna, and dedicated treatment suites. Dining and nightlife run through celebrity-favorite Mr Chow, the roots-driven American concept Dutch (formerly RWSB), the Living Room Bar and Irma's lobby program, and the WALL ultra-lounge with rotating global DJs. Service touches at the W South Beach condo include 24-hour valet, full-service concierge, secured elevator access, Bliss spa amenities in-residence, and signature W Whatever/Whenever service across the building.
