Glass · #1400

Glass is an 18-story ultra-boutique oceanfront tower at 120 Ocean Drive in Miami Beach's South of Fifth neighborhood, completed at the end of 2015 by developer Terra Group with architecture by Rene Gonzalez Architect. The Glass 120 Ocean tower delivers only ten residences total, one per residential floor, making it among the lowest-density condominiums in Miami Beach. Glass residences range from approximately 2,000 to 10,000 square feet across two-, three-, and four-bedroom layouts, with full-floor plates that flow through the building for direct sunrise-to-sunset orientations. Interiors at the Glass South Beach tower feature private elevator entry into the residence, floor-to-ceiling glass on all four exposures, custom Italian cabinetry, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, Italian marble flooring, and oversized wraparound terraces with sliding-glass walls that erase the boundary between indoor and outdoor space. The South Beach Glass 120 Ocean Drive address sits in South of Fifth (SoFi), Miami Beach's most residential oceanfront pocket, with Joe's Stone Crab, Smith & Wollensky, Prime 112, Macchialina, Pao by Paul Qui, and Estiatorio Milos within four blocks. South Pointe Park, with the South Pointe Pier and lighted jogging paths overlooking Government Cut, is two blocks south of the Glass entrance, while Ocean Drive's Art Deco District, Lummus Park, and Lincoln Road Mall sit a short walk north. Brickell and downtown Miami are fifteen minutes across the MacArthur Causeway. Residents at the Glass SoFi tower access a private oceanfront pool, a fitness center, a residents' wellness lounge with treatment rooms, valet parking, and 24-hour concierge and security. The Glass amenity program at 120 Ocean Drive prioritizes service and privacy over sprawling facility lists, leveraging neighboring South Pointe Park's running paths and the building's direct beach access. The Rene Gonzalez Glass envelope, with its layered horizontal terraces wrapped in sliding-glass walls, remains one of the most architecturally celebrated boutique condominiums delivered in South Beach in the past two decades.
