One Tequesta Point · #1901

One Tequesta Point is a 30-story condominium tower at 888 Brickell Key Drive on the northern tip of Brickell Key. Completed in 1995, the building was the first of three Tequesta Point towers developed by Swire Properties as part of the master plan that established Brickell Key as a residential island. One Tequesta Point holds 289 residences spanning one- to five-bedroom layouts ranging from roughly 780 to 3,310 square feet, with floor plans that lean to larger family-sized units relative to newer Brickell towers. Residences at One Tequesta Point include in-unit washer and dryer, granite countertops, central air conditioning, and private balconies oriented toward Biscayne Bay or the downtown skyline. The 30-year track record gives buyers a long pricing history to underwrite against. Brickell Key, also known as Claughton Island, is a 44-acre man-made island connected to mainland Brickell by a single bridge at SE 8th Street. Swire Properties planned the island around the Mandarin Oriental hotel, the Brickell Key Park promenade, and a walkable loop of cafes and small retail at Islanders Marketplace. The Tequesta Point cluster sits at the north end of the island, putting One Tequesta Point closest to the bridge and to Brickell City Centre, Mary Brickell Village, and the Metromover Eighth Street station. Residents walk the 1.25-mile perimeter promenade for direct waterfront access and reach Downtown Miami in under ten minutes by car, with Miami International Airport about fifteen minutes west on the Dolphin Expressway. One Tequesta Point's amenity floor was sized for the 289-unit population and runs broader than the boutique-tower template common in newer Brickell construction. The building offers a fully equipped fitness center, a social room, a barbecue area, a sundeck, a swimming pool with Jacuzzi, dedicated squash and racquetball courts, and a sauna. Service coverage at One Tequesta Point includes 24-hour valet parking, 24-hour concierge, and 24-hour security at the gated entry. The combination of the gated island setting, the larger floor plans, and the racquet sports facilities keeps One Tequesta Point trading as a family-oriented alternative to the newer towers on Brickell Avenue.
