Midtown 2, also known as Two Midtown Miami, is a three-building condominium at 3470 E Coast Avenue in Midtown Miami, completed in 2007 by the Midtown Group. The complex combines a tower of roughly 30 stories on E Coast Avenue, a 10-story midrise at 3451 NE 1st Avenue and the Mews, a three-story building of live/work lofts at 3449 NE 1st Avenue, each with its own lobby around a shared seventh-floor amenity deck. Miami-Dade property records list 337 residences in the Two Midtown Miami Condominium: 261 in the tower, including 12 penthouses on its two top levels, 62 in the midrise, including eight two-story penthouses, and 14 in the Mews. Midtown 2 condos are mostly one-bedrooms of about 590 to 1,180 square feet and two-bedrooms of about 910 to 2,180 square feet, with three-bedroom corner units up to about 2,930 square feet. The midrise penthouses are duplexes of about 1,570 square feet with two primary suites and three terraces, and the Mews includes multi-level live/work residences zoned for residential or commercial use, from a tri-level 2,048-square-foot loft with a ground-floor commercial component to a two-level, four-bedroom penthouse of about 5,070 square feet. Residences have floor-to-ceiling impact glass, oversized balconies, in-unit washers and dryers and assigned covered parking, and upper floors of the tower look east toward Biscayne Bay. The amenity deck on the seventh floor has a heated pool and hot tub, an outdoor lounge with a fireplace and summer kitchen, a fitness center with bay views, a sauna, steam room and temperature-controlled dipping pools, plus a community room, bike storage, 24-hour concierge and security, and valet. Most MLS records show leasing allowed twice a year. The Shops at Midtown Miami, Target, Trader Joe's and Midtown's restaurants are steps away, with the Design District a block north and Wynwood and Edgewater a short walk south and east.
