Icon Brickell I · #2011

Icon Brickell Tower I is the signature 57-story bayfront tower of the three-building Icon Brickell complex at 465 Brickell Avenue, completed in 2008 as the centerpiece of a $1.3 billion development on the Miami River mouth. The tower was designed by Miami's Arquitectonica and developed by The Related Group, with lobby and common-area interiors by world-renowned French designer Philippe Starck -- a partnership that helped define the modern Brickell skyline and the now-iconic look of resort-scale urban Miami towers. Icon Brickell I contains roughly 713 residences across studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans, each with floor-to-ceiling glass, expansive terraces, contemporary kitchens, and direct views over Biscayne Bay, the Miami River, and the Brickell skyline. The 465 Brickell Avenue address sits at the gateway between Brickell and Downtown Miami where the Miami River meets Biscayne Bay, walkable to Brickell City Centre, Mary Brickell Village, the Underline linear park, Bayside Marketplace, and the Kaseya Center. Brickell Key and the Mandarin Oriental Miami are across the channel, and the new Miami Worldcenter, the Adrienne Arsht Center, and the Perez Art Museum sit a short drive north on Biscayne Boulevard. Metromover stations at Fifth Street and Eighth Street put residents on the free downtown loop within a one- or two-block walk, and Brickell Avenue itself connects directly to I-95 and the Rickenbacker Causeway to Key Biscayne. The amenity deck at Icon Brickell Tower I is one of the most dramatic in Miami: a 300-foot bayfront swimming pool divided into a wading area, thermal hot tub, and Olympic-length lap and recreational pool, ringed by a 50-person communal hot tub overlooking Biscayne Bay. Residents share a 28,000-square-foot Icon Spa and fitness center with full free-weight and cardio equipment, aerobic studio, treatment rooms, his-and-hers lounges with whirlpool tubs and cold-plunge pools, steam room, and redwood saunas, while the on-site dining roster has historically included Cipriani Downtown Miami. The high-style Starck-designed lobby, 24-hour concierge, and 24-hour valet round out the platform, making Icon Brickell I one of the defining resort-style luxury condos in Brickell for buyers prioritizing scale and design pedigree.
