Emerald at Brickell · #2006

Emerald at Brickell is a 27-story glass condominium at 218 SE 14th Street in Miami's Brickell Financial District, developed by SunVest Communities USA and designed by Fullerton-Diaz Architects. The Emerald tower was completed in 2006 and contains 142 residences in one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations, with floor plans ranging from 811 to 4,556 square feet. Emerald at Brickell residences feature floor-to-ceiling impact glass, open kitchen layouts, European cabinetry, granite or stone countertops, and private balconies, and the building's emerald-tinted curtainwall gives the Emerald Brickell tower its name and identifies it from blocks away along the 14th Street corridor. The 218 SE 14th Street site sits in the densest stretch of Brickell, two blocks from Brickell Avenue and within a 10-minute walk of Brickell City Centre, the open-air retail and office complex anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue and Equinox. Mary Brickell Village, the Tenth Street/Promenade Metromover station, and the Brickell Metrorail station are within a quarter mile, and Bayfront Park and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts sit a short Metromover ride north. The Emerald at Brickell location places residents inside Miami's primary banking and law-firm cluster, with the offices of Citigroup, Espirito Santo Bank, and the Four Seasons Hotel within walking distance. Emerald at Brickell amenities include a heated pool and sundeck, a fitness center with cardio and weight equipment, a business center, a club room with catering kitchen, a children's playroom, a sauna and steam room, and 24-hour concierge, valet, and security. Emerald Brickell also offers covered self-park and valet parking, controlled-access elevators, a porte cochere drop-off on SE 14th Street, and ground-floor commercial space along the building's two street frontages. With larger floor plates than most Brickell mid-rises and unit sizes that include genuine three-bedroom layouts above 2,000 square feet, the Emerald at Brickell condo attracts full-time residents and families rather than serving primarily as a pied-a-terre or rental product, and the building's 142-unit count keeps the pool deck and gym usable on a daily basis.
