Acqualina Resort & Residences on the Beach is a 51-story Forbes Five-Star oceanfront condo-hotel at 17875 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, completed in 2006 by The Trump Group and designed by Robert Swedroe. Acqualina sits on 4.5 oceanfront acres with 400 feet of Atlantic Ocean frontage, holding 188 condominium residences plus 98 condo-hotel units across 51 stories. Residences range from one- to five-bedrooms plus penthouses, with floor-to-ceiling impact glass, marble flooring, custom European kitchens, Sub-Zero and Miele appliances, custom millwork, oversize private terraces, and direct east-facing ocean views or wraparound east-west exposures in the corner lines. Penthouses occupy the top floors with private rooftop terraces and pools, and Acqualina has consistently ranked among the top resort properties in the United States across Forbes, AAA, and Conde Nast lists. Acqualina sits in the prime Sunny Isles Beach oceanfront row, immediately adjacent to The Mansions at Acqualina and The Estates at Acqualina (the same developer's later phases), and a short walk to Trump International Beach Resort, Turnberry Ocean Club, Muse Residences, Chateau Beach, and Jade Beach and Jade Ocean. Aventura Mall, the Brightline Aventura station, the Turnberry Isle Resort golf course, and Gulfstream Park sit a 10-minute drive west via the William Lehman Causeway. Bal Harbour Shops, the Bal Harbour beachwalk, and Haulover Marina are five to ten minutes south on Collins, and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is roughly 15 minutes north. Miami International sits 25 minutes south for international travelers. Acqualina's resort program is one of the most decorated in the country and includes three oceanfront swimming pools, the AcquaMarine kids' club, the AcquaTeen lounge, the AcquaMoves spa with a full hammam and treatment program, a state-of-the-art fitness center, oceanfront dining at AVRA Estiatorio (the Greek restaurant) and Il Mulino New York, a beach club with chair and umbrella service, a wine cellar, a billiards room, a club room, a card room, and a screening room. Acqualina residents have 24-hour Forbes Five-Star concierge, butler service, valet, security, and full hotel housekeeping and room-service on call directly to their units.
