One Island Place II

One Island Place II is a 30-story Intracoastal condominium at 3802 NE 207th Street in Aventura, completed in 1992 as the south tower of the two-tower One Island Place development. The project was developed in the early 1990s by E.M. Segall and Atlantic Coast Development with architecture by Robert M. Swedroe, and the South Tower at One Island Place II holds approximately 100 residences spanning studios through five-bedroom layouts -- an unusually broad floor-plan range for a single tower that includes large family-sized residences and full-floor penthouses. Residences at the One Island Place II condo feature private balconies, oversized windows with Intracoastal and Atlantic orientations, and the spacious 1990s-era floor plates that pre-date the smaller-unit trend of later Aventura towers. Many units at One Island Place II look directly across the Intracoastal Waterway toward the single-family enclave of Golden Beach, a view corridor protected from future obstruction. The Aventura address sits within the Waterways neighborhood of north Aventura, with the Aventura Mall -- one of the largest luxury malls in the United States -- about a mile and a half west on Biscayne Boulevard. The Waterways Shoppes with grocery, restaurants and services is a five-minute walk, and the Promenade Shops and Aventura Hospital are within a mile. Sunny Isles Beach is roughly a ten-minute drive east across the William Lehman Causeway, Bal Harbour Shops and the Surf Club sit about fifteen minutes south on Collins Avenue, and the Brightline Aventura station is a five-minute drive south on Biscayne Boulevard for service to MiamiCentral, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach. One Island Place II residents share the amenity program of the two-tower complex, which includes two oversized resort-style pools, private poolside cabanas, lighted tennis courts, a fitness center, a sauna, a billiards room, a library, a picnic and BBQ area, and extra resident storage. Service includes 24-hour security, controlled-access lobbies for each tower, and assigned covered parking. The waterfront orientation along the Intracoastal gives the One Island Place project bay breezes and unobstructed sunrise views across the protected Golden Beach skyline.
