The Reef

The Reef is a 1974 oceanfront condominium at 2275 South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach, designed by architect Gene Lawrence and recognized as a landmarked example of mid-century modern architecture on the island. The low-rise complex holds about 78 residences across its buildings on the oceanfront. Brokerage profiles describe three buildings, the North, South and Atrium buildings, with residences of about 1,000 to 3,000 square feet and deeded cabanas. The association has been completing an extensive exterior restoration, with concrete work finished on the North Building and balcony work under way on the South and Atrium buildings. The Reef is on South Ocean Boulevard in the southern part of Palm Beach, a short drive from Worth Avenue and from the bridges to West Palm Beach.
