Aurora

Aurora is a 17-story boutique oceanfront condominium at 17550 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, developed by Verzasca Group and designed by Luis Revuelta with interiors by Antrobus + Ramirez. Completed in 2023, Aurora holds just 61 residences across two- and three-bedroom layouts, pool-deck lanai homes and full-floor penthouses, with floor plans that emphasize larger square footages and lower density than the towering Trump and Acqualina buildings further down the Collins corridor. Aurora residences run from roughly 1,400 square feet for two-bedrooms up to more than 5,000 square feet for full-floor penthouses, with private elevator entry into nearly every unit. The Aurora address sits in the Collins 17000s-18000s, immediately adjacent to the Acqualina campus and a short walk from Pier Park, Newport Pier and the Sunny Isles oceanfront promenade. Bal Harbour Shops is roughly five minutes south, Aventura Mall and the Brightline Aventura station are 12 to 15 minutes north via the William Lehman Causeway, and the broader Sunny Isles luxury corridor -- Mansions at Acqualina, Estates at Acqualina, Jade Ocean and Turnberry Ocean Club -- is within walking distance. The lifeguarded beach behind the building is one of the wider sections of the Sunny Isles strand, and the nearby Pier Park host weekly markets and seasonal events. The Aurora amenity program is built around a private resident experience rather than a hotel-branded program. Owners share a rooftop pool with skyline views, a ground-floor oceanfront pool, a wellness suite with sauna, steam and treatment rooms, a private fitness center with views of the Atlantic, a residents-only lounge, a coworking space, a children's playroom, a private dining room with a chef's kitchen, and 24-hour concierge, valet and security. Inside the residences, Aurora delivers private elevator entry, 10-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass, custom Italian kitchens, summer kitchens on the terraces, smart-home pre-wiring and deep wraparound balconies. For buyers seeking a smaller-format, design-led Sunny Isles building, Aurora offers an alternative to the 50-story towers that dominate the rest of the Collins skyline -- a boutique format more reminiscent of Bal Harbour than the Sunny Isles wall of glass.
