The Residences at 1428 Brickell is a 70-story Ytech development at 1428 Brickell Avenue, designed by Milan-based ACPV ARCHITECTS (Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel) with Arquitectonica as architect of record and marketed as the world's first high-rise residential building partially powered by the sun. The Residences at 1428 Brickell broke ground in November 2024, completed foundation work in 2025 and targets delivery in 2028, with a 189-residence count for the standard collection that expands to roughly 195 homes when the Penthouse Collection is included. The Solar Backbone facade at The Residences at 1428 Brickell carries more than 500 photovoltaic-integrated glass panels spanning roughly 20,000 square feet on the western elevation and is projected to generate up to 170,000 kilowatt hours of clean energy annually. The Residences at 1428 Brickell carries no hotel component and no transient-rental program. The site at 1428 Brickell Avenue sits between Southeast 14th Street and Southeast 15th Road on the financial spine of Brickell, within a short walk of Brickell City Centre, Mary Brickell Village, the Brickell Metromover, the Underline linear park along the Metrorail corridor and the office core of the Financial District. Biscayne Bay frames the eastern side of Brickell Avenue, with the Rickenbacker Causeway approach to Key Biscayne, Virginia Key and the Miami Marine Stadium just south of the parcel.
