Serene Las Olas

Serene is a boutique condominium under construction at 87 Isle of Venice Drive on the Nurmi Isles, part of Fort Lauderdale's Las Olas Isles. JDSFC Properties, a Fort Lauderdale firm, filed the project in 2022 under the working name Isle of Venice Condos. Adache Group Architects designed the building, with landscape architecture by Architectural Alliance Landscape. The five-story building holds just eight residences on four residential floors above a ground-level garage, two homes per floor, with two penthouses on the top level. Every residence has four bedrooms and four and a half baths. The 2022 plans called for homes averaging about 3,000 square feet, and listed residences measure roughly 2,940 to 2,960 square feet of living area. Each home has large balconies, two covered garage spaces and its own boat slip, and the penthouse listings add a private rooftop deck. Balconies wrap all sides of the building to shade the glass, and rooftop mechanical equipment is hidden from view. Behind the building, a gated rear yard for residents holds a saltwater pool and deck beside the dock. Inside, the shared spaces include a secure lobby and a bike and storage room. Residences are being finished with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, European cabinetry, walk-in pantries, entertainment bars and primary baths with two water closets. The site sits a short walk north of Las Olas Boulevard and about a mile west of Fort Lauderdale Beach, with boat access from the dock. The city's Development Review Committee took up the site plan in December 2022. As of late October 2026, sales listings described the building as under construction with completion expected that fall.
